| CCHA | Central Collegiate Hockey Association, a Midwest-based conference, reborn in 2021 after having been discontinued in 2013. |
| College Hockey America | Defunct conference that contained teams unable to join other conferences. Continues to exist on the women's side. |
| ECAC Hockey | Oldest major Division 1 hockey conference, located in the Northeast. |
| Great West Hockey | Defunct 1980s conference consisting of western schools. |
| Hockey East | New England conference with a major presence in the Boston area. |
| MAAC | Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, an existing conference that formerly sponsored hockey. Predecessor to Atlantic Hockey. |
| NCHC | National Collegiate Hockey Conference, created in 2013 as a consequence of the Big Ten sponsoring hockey. |
| Tri-State League | Former conference, absorbed by the ICAC before becoming defunct. |
| WCHA | Western Collegiate Hockey Association, formerly the oldest hockey conference. Men's version disbanded in 2021, women's conference continued. |

| College Hockey In-Season Tournaments | Collection of in-season tournaments. Work in progress. |
| NCAA Division 1 | National championship tournament for Division 1. Also contains national award winners, such as the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. |
| RPI Invitational | The former invitational tournament hosted by RPI. |
